You will be greeted & assisted by our representative at Delhi international airport and later transferred to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next day.

Welcome a new fresh morning in your life. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and spruce up yourself for a tour of New Delhi. 

This morning, you will visit the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, India Gate - a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war, and many more in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi).

Delhi – Agra, Tour of Romance and Exaltation Begins

Later, pack yourself for a road trip to Agra – the Old Capital of Mughals. On arrival, visit Agra Fort - a UNESCO world heritage site.

In the evening visit the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset in the backdrop of this symbol of love. Make the overnight stay in your hotel room a memoir of the events of which you were the part.

At dawn, visit the incomparable Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world, to observe the effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this masterpiece. Return back to your hotel for a delectable breakfast, while a part of you is still living in romanticism.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri (Step Wells)

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive towards Fatehpur Sikri-a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a perfectly preserved red sandstone ghost town, which was once the capital of Mughal Empire built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Later drive towards Abhaneri. The Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and one of the most beautiful ones.

Abhaneri - Jaipur

Later, you will be transferred to Jaipur, “The Pink City of India”. As the evening sets in, explore the bustling local bazaar & indulge yourself in shopping local handmade artifacts & jewelry. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.

The morning is fresh as ever for you, and this is when you will have an excursion to Amber Fort by jeep. This palace is laid out over four layers and sits beside the shimmering Maota Lake. Afterwards visit the Maharaja's City Palace (the home of the erstwhile royal family), Hawa Mahal (the Palace of winds) and visit its museum of regal clothing and textiles. Then we continue to the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar space observatory. 

Diwali Eve Traditional Indian Attire Shopping

In the evening, on the eve of Diwali, shop for local Indian attire for Diwali celebration. As a gesture of good will it is appropriate for you to dress nicely for Diwali evening’s celebration. Return to your hotel and live a memorable night.

Congratulations on making the right decision to witness the festival of lights first-hand here in Jaipur. Diwali is India’s ‘Festival of Light’, a time when people come together to celebrate good conquering evil, light conquering dark.

Post healthy breakfast, your tour leader will take you to the local markets to shop for fireworks and local sweets as during Diwali sweets are a traditional gift. Your leader will point out which sweets to choose and their significance. After local shopping and lunch come back to your hotel and get dressed in traditional Indian attire for Diwali evening’s celebration with local family.

The evening will be spent with a local family celebrating Diwali in their traditional style with you. Your leader will help you through the intricate customs of Diwali rituals, prayer sessions, gift exchanging, lighting of candles and oil lamps, eating snacks, and many more. Take in the rooftop views with fireworks all around while sharing a home-cooked meal with the family and being entertained by local musicians singing traditional Diwali songs. Tonight, dark lanes and alleys will be brightly lit, the sound of fireworks and happiness floating through the wind. This is all part of the Diwali experience and you should soak it up and celebrate with the locals.

Morning after breakfast, checkout, and drive to reach Delhi. You will reach Delhi by late afternoon.

On arrival visit The Lotus Temple, 12th century Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. You will have some time to look around in the markets near your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.

This Morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and at appropriate time you will be transferred to Delhi international airport for your onward journey. Board your flight and fly back with memories to cherish for life. Tour ends.
