A wholesale market with carts full of different spices and people busy negotiating the prices, it’s really a scene.

This morning, you will visit the imposing boulevards and buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence), the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys, India Gate - a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war, Raj Ghat (Gandhi’s memorial),and many more in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi).
Next visit The Lotus Temple, glorious symbol of oneness. It is a matchless architectural marvel and one of the prime tourist attractions of the National Capital. Shaped in the form of a spectacular lotus with white petals, it makes for a break-taking sight and attracts countless visitors throughout the year.
Later visit, 12th century Qutab Minar. It is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone; the fourth and fifth storeys are of marble and sandstone.
Next on the line is Humayun’s Tomb. The last refuge of Mughal Emperor Humayun reminds rather of a luxurious palace, than a tomb.This tomb, built in 1570, is one of the best-preserved Mughal monuments. This spellbinding mausoleum is the first example of Mughal architecture in India. After a century from its construction Humayun’s tomb inspired the construction of the more famous Taj Mahal.The architecture of the tomb is strongly influenced by Persian architecture.

We will also make our way to its busy fruit, vegetable, and spice markets.

The Chand Baori, a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan.It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and one of the most beautiful ones. It has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the well.About 64 feet deep, it is India's largest and deepest stepwells with 13 floors and was built in the 9th century for water harvesting.The wells have steps built into the sides that lead down to the water.Centuries ago, the stepwells were built in the arid zones of Rajasthan to provide water all year through.

As the afternoon comes around, we'll continue to explore Agra, this time from the back of an electric rickshaw, enjoying the incredible culture and cuisine that the city has to offer. This tour gives you an authentic view of Agra, taking you to its old bazaars, traditional eateries, and its places of worship.
After an action-packed afternoon, a day-use room is available for you to freshen up before we transfer you to the station to board an overnight train to Varanasi, get a unique slice of Indian life on board an overnight sleeper train bound for Agra (approximately 13 hours).

As night falls, we head to the holy Ganges River toboard your exclusive boat and witness the sprawling Aarti possession, a devotional Hindu ritual which involves numerous small candles being lit inside cups made from leaves and flowers and floated down the river– an unforgettable experience. Varanasi is one of India's holiest cities and we get our first taste here of how important the city and the Ganges River is to the country's Hindu population.

Early morning transfer to the Ghats of Holy River Ganges to take an early morning boat ride along the Ganges River, as we explore the city.
The Ganges is a constant hive of activity throughout the day, as hordes of people come to pray and immerse themselves in its spiritually cleansing waters. The city is also considered an extremely auspicious place to die, and many people come to Varanasi to spend their final days. We'll see many funeral pyres on the ghats at the edge of the river as we pass by on the water.
We'll then go on a walking tour of the city, exploring its medieval streets, intricate temples and busy markets, abuzz with the general cacophony of Indian life.
Later take an excursion to the ancient Buddhist site at Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after becoming enlightened.
At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport to board the flight to Delhi.
