Khajuraho

After breakfast, drive towards Khajuraho, India's most titillating town famed far and wide for the erotic stone carvings. On arrival check - in to the hotel.
Witness the architectural brilliance, intricate carvings and, most famously, their erotic sculptures of various Khajuraho Temples, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Built between AD 900 and 1130 are amongst the most beautiful medieval monuments in India. They are the largest group of Hindu and Jain temples in the world, although only about 25 of them remain today.
Khajuraho Templesare divided into three groups of temples. First visit the the Western Group of temples. They contain some stunning sculptures that together make up some of the finest temple art in the world. Second on the line is the ChaunsathJogini Temple, situated on the bank of the Shivsagar Lake, is believed to be the oldest temple in Khajuraho. This temple is different from the other temples at Khajuraho and depicts a different style. At last visit the Eastern temples, they reflect a vastly different side of Khajuraho. The Brahma Temple dated from 925 AD is one of the most prominent and beautiful structures in the eastern group.

After breakfast explore the Varanasi visiting Kashi Vishawanath temple, Banaras Hindu University, SankatMochan Hanuman temple and various other attractions located in the narrow lanes. Later take an excursion to Sarai Mohana Weavers Village. Sarai Mohana is famous for its silk weaving and most of the locals here are involved in the craft.
As night falls, we head to the holy Ganges River toboard your exclusive boat and witness the sprawling Aarti possession, a devotional Hindu ritual which involves numerous small candles being lit inside cups made from leaves and flowers and floated down the river– an unforgettable experience.Stay overnight at the hotel.

Early morning transfer to the Ghats of Holy River Ganges to take an early morning boat ride along the Ganges River, as we explore the city.
The Ganges is a constant hive of activity throughout the day, as hordes of people come to pray and immerse themselves in its spiritually cleansing waters. We will then go on a walking tour of the city, exploring its medieval streets, intricate temples and busy markets, abuzz with the general cacophony of Indian life. Later take an excursion to the ancient Buddhist site at Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after becoming enlightened.

At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport to board the flight to Delhi.
